Mooresville Soup Kitchen Opportunity & Event
Mooresville Soup Kitchen Garden: Do you have a green thumb? If so, the Mooresville Soup Kitchen needs your help to start, maintain and plant a garden. Pulling weeds, planting and watering is a great way to meet people plus helps provide fresh produce for the kitchen. Mooresville Soup Kitchen 2nd Annual Lobster Fest: Friday, June 1 at 6:30 pm * Charles Mack Center (215 N. Main Street, Mooresville). Support the Mooresville Soup Kitchen with an evening of lobster and fun. All proceeds benefit the Mooresville Soup Kitchen as it works to provide nourishing meals, fellowship and encouragement to our friends in need. Volunteer opportunities also available. MCM Summer Volunteer needs
As summer approaches, Mooresville Christian Mission is already beginning to notice changes in their volunteer scheduling. They have many openings in their pantry (most critical need is Thursdays), warehouse and grocery store pick up schedules. Please contact if you would like to volunteer.
Pantry:Tuesdays: Pantry Distribution 1:00-4:00
Thursdays: Pantry Distribution 11:30-2:00
Thursdays: Pantry Distribution 2:00-4:00
Wednesdays: Pantry Receiving Preparation 12:00-2:00
Fridays: Pantry Receiving/Preparation 12:00-2:00
Warehouse: (sorting incoming donations and stocking store)
Daily Monday-Friday 9:00-4:00
Saturdays particularly 1:00-4:00 shift
Grocery Store Pick Ups
Friday Pick Up (9:30-10:00 AM): Food Lion/E. Plaza Drive
Daily Substitute/back up drivers as needed
